In my opinion, unless you are needing something very complex like a custom membership system (unlike what is available through a plugin in WordPress), then WordPress is your best option. There is a lot you can do with WordPress. WordPress started as a blogging system but very quickly due to its content management system became the web standard for building all types of web sites. I use WordPress because it is also easy for my clients to edit their own content. The benefits are endless. WordPress has extremely professional themes that look awesome and can be customised to suit your brand.

I can edit the theme outside the normal theme options. e.g. change the width of the banner, font sizes, image widths etc.
Add Plugins. There is an absolute treasure trove of plug ins out there to improve your site. Examples include directories, photo galleries, Advanced social media integration, email subscription, shopping carts and much, much more.
Page design. Want a little flair on those individual pages? Want icons added? tables? or even some images designed? Maybe you want stock photos sourced?
